Information notice on the protection and processing of personal data

Abdi İbrahim İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi — information notice on the protection and processing of personal data prepared in relation to reporting adverse events.

Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “Law”), your personal data may be processed by Abdi İbrahim İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“Abdi İbrahim” or the “Company”) as data controller to the extent specified below.

a) Purpose of processing personal data

Your personal data may be processed by the Company in accordance with the conditions for processing personal data set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law for the following purposes: adverse event management in line with the overarching purpose of ensuring the legal, technical and commercial security of the Company and of persons in a business relationship with it; and performance of the activities necessary for the Company’s commercial operations by the relevant business units, together with the associated business procedures (the “Purposes”).

b) To whom and for what purposes the processed personal data may be transferred

To fulfil the Purposes, your personal data may be transferred by the Company to its business partners, public agencies authorised by law, and natural or legal persons and third parties authorised by law, in accordance with the conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.

c) Method and legal basis for collecting personal data

Your personal data are collected and processed by the Company electronically, in accordance with the conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, on the basis of your explicit consent, in order to ensure adverse event management and fulfil the Company’s obligations related to reporting such events.

d) Rights of the data subject under Article 11 of the Law

As a data subject, you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data are processed;
• request information on the processing if your personal data are processed;
• learn the purpose of processing and whether the data are used for that purpose;
• learn the identity of third parties to whom your personal data are transferred within the country or abroad;
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and have the correction communicated to third parties to whom the data were transferred;
• request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing them, lawfully carried out under the Law and other applicable provisions, no longer exist, and have third parties to whom the data were transferred informed accordingly;
• object to an outcome against your interest resulting from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems;
• claim compensation for damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing of your personal data.

You can exercise these rights by completing the Data Subject Application Form of Abdi İbrahim İlaç Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi available at abdiibrahim.com.tr/en/protection-of-personal-data. Requests are processed free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature; if a request involves additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
